St Nicholas CE Primary is a charming and thriving school rated 'Good' by Ofsted in 2018 and 2023. We are perfectly sized, big enough to provide a rich and stimulating learning experience but small enough to form individual relationships with every child.

Applications are now open! Parents will receive notification from the local authority of your allocated school reception place for September 2025 in early April. Shortly after this we will be in contact with families to give you more information about our transition visits. Application information can be found using this link:

In Year Transfers

If you are moving into the area or considering moving your child please contact the school office to arrange a visit to look around the school.

Following your visit, if you express an interest in a school place we will be able to advise you of the application process which is dealt with in-house and not by the Local Authority.
